Aushima Sawhney is an actress and model. She is also an former Miss India finalist. Aushima Sawhney was the fifth person to be eliminated on Dil Jeetegi Desi Girl. With a height of 5 feet and 7 inches, she stands tall, but perhaps that is not sufficient to make it big in Bollywood.

She was launched by Pooja Bhatt in 2007 in her film Dhokha. The film didn't do too well. She then appeared in Superstar (2008). Thouhg the film was liked by a small population, her role didn't quite stay in the audiences mind. In the 2008 debacle Yuvvraj she played Nandita. She is one of the contestants in Desi Girl, Reality Show on Desi Girl.
